Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and local storage Voca Vela ("the Service") uses, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. What we use

We use a small amount of browser storage. It falls into two groups.

Strictly necessary — always on, because the Service can't work without it:

• Authentication / session — keeps you signed in (set by our authentication provider, Supabase).
• Preferences — remembers your chosen languages and light/dark theme.
• Your cookie choice — remembers whether you've accepted or declined analytics, so we don't ask again.

Analytics — optional, and only used if analytics is enabled for the Service:

• PostHog — helps us understand how the Service is used (for example, which features are used and in which languages). It never captures the content of your conversations, audio, or photos. Analytics requests are sent through our own domain (a first-party reverse proxy), so no third-party analytics domain is contacted directly.

2. Your choice

Analytics is on by default, and you can withdraw your consent at any time using the control below. When you decline, we stop analytics capture and opt your browser out. Declining does not affect the strictly-necessary storage the Service needs to function. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though blocking the necessary ones may sign you out or reset your preferences.

3. Third parties

Analytics is provided by PostHog. See PostHog's privacy information at posthog.com/privacy for how it processes data.

4. Changes

We may update this Policy; the date above reflects the latest version.
